Registered Address: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom

    1. Introduction

    1.1 Parties and Definitions

     i) These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all UPVC spray painting and related services (“Services”) provided by Inspire Spray Coat (a brand of The Viame Group Limited, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to the customer (“Client”, “you”, or “your”).

ii) By booking or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

    1.2 Intellectual Property

     i) The Inspire Spray Coat brand, trademarks, logos, website content, text, images, and design elements are the exclusive property of The Viame Group Limited.

ii) Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited. For licensing or authorised use, please contact The Viame Group Limited.

    1.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

     i) These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them (including non contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

ii) The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

    1. Scope of Work

    2.1 Included in Price

     i) Kitchen visible elements comprising external cupboard doors and drawers, kick plates, external side or end panels, cornices or pelmets, and other visible areas when standing in the kitchen; plus full preparation of the listed surfaces including cleaning and protection, a test paint area to confirm colour and adhesion, application of a coating formulated for the relevant substrate, clean down and removal of our waste upon completion, a 10 year manufacturer paint guarantee on the approved system used for your project which may require registration or proof of purchase, and a 12 month workmanship warranty covering defects in our labour only (see section 9).

    2.2 Not Included in Price

     i) Internal cupboard doors and casings.

ii) Internal surfaces of cupboards or drawers.

    2.3 Optional Extras

     i) We can include internal surfaces or other items at an additional cost. A separate quotation will be provided upon request.

    2.4 Visible Surface Policy

     i) Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we only spray the visible areas of your fixtures such as doors and panels. Internal or hidden surfaces are not included unless specified in the final quotation.

2.5 Windows, Doors and Conservatories, Scope and Exclusions

     i) Scope: Unless stated otherwise on your quotation, works include the visible faces of frames, sashes, casements and panels when closed.

ii) Exclusions: We do not coat moving weather seals, brush seals, rubber gaskets, trickle vents, hinges, locks or mechanisms.

iii) Silicone: Existing silicone is not paintable. Removal and renewal of silicone must be specified as an extra. Masking to the silicone line may leave a fine witness line.

iv) Access and protection: Conservatories and exterior frames may require enhanced sheeting and containment to manage exposure and overspray risk. Additional time may be required where access is tight or landscaping is close to the work area.

     v) Weather dependency: External works are weather dependent and may be rescheduled to protect finish quality (see section 5).

vi) Scope verification and extras: We verify scope via WhatsApp or telephone call and by email using photos and videos, and where necessary by on site visit. Anything outside what is agreed through these channels is a chargeable extra and requires prior written approval. If you ask our on site team for extra work and offer payment directly, we may stop work and demand immediate payment for the work completed to that point and we reserve the right to pursue further damages and costs.

2.6 Kitchens, Scope Verification and Extras

     i) Scope verification: We verify the kitchen scope via WhatsApp or telephone call and by email using photos and videos, and where necessary by on site visit.

ii) Out of scope: Anything outside what is agreed through these channels is a chargeable extra and requires prior written approval.

iii) Direct offers to staff: Do not offer our team cash or other payments for extra work on site. All variations must go through our office. If this occurs, we may stop work and require immediate payment for work completed to that point.

iv) Remedies: We reserve the right to pursue further damages and costs arising from breach, and a re mobilisation fee may apply if a new visit is required.

    1. Preparation and Client Responsibilities

    3.1 Clear and Empty Spaces

     i) Please ensure that all cupboards are emptied, shelves are cleared, and work surfaces are free of any items before our arrival. This enables us to carry out the work without unnecessary delays or obstructions.

    3.2 Handles and Ancillary Items

     i) We may remove handles and other ancillary items to achieve a quality finish.

ii) We only remove doors, drawers or units where required and strictly at our discretion.

iii) Refitting of handles and ancillary items is the Client’s responsibility unless your quotation expressly includes refitting. Where refitting is included, we will carry it out after the coating has reached safe handling strength.

iv) Minor realignment may be required after refitting and is not a defect.

     v) We do not dismantle or reassemble carcasses, worktops, appliances, glazing or hardware unless explicitly quoted as an extra or necessity

3.3 Masking Tape and Protective Materials

     i) We take all reasonable steps to protect surrounding areas by using tape and protective sheeting. However, even low tack tape can occasionally pull paint or damage wallpaper. You acknowledge and accept this risk when using our Services.

    1. Condition of Surfaces

    4.1 Fair Condition on Arrival

     i) We expect all surfaces to be in a fair condition free from significant dust, debris, grease, glue or existing paint residues. If any surfaces are discovered to be heavily contaminated or require additional preparation, we reserve the right to charge an additional premium of 10% of the total original quote to cover extra time and materials.

    4.2 Inspection and Changes

     i) If the scope of work changes due to unforeseen conditions, we will discuss any additional costs or revised timelines with you before proceeding.

4.3 Hidden Damage and Additional Day Rate

     i) If hidden damage or unforeseen conditions become apparent after preparation or stripping and you authorise us to proceed, additional labour is charged at £225 per day plus materials and VAT unless your quotation states a different figure.

4.4 MDF Surfaces Advisory, Kitchens and Furniture

     i) MDF is a porous engineered board. Edges and cut outs absorb moisture and can swell. Historic water damage, delamination of vinyl wraps or laminates, deep chips and soft edges may print through coatings even after preparation.

ii) Stain blocking primers and two component or waterborne polyurethane systems improve performance but cannot fully reverse prior substrate damage.

iii) Areas near sinks, hobs, dishwashers and bins are at higher risk due to heat and steam.

iv) Our guarantees do not cover post completion moisture ingress, ongoing substrate failure, or defects that arise from pre existing damage. Where MDF is heavily damaged we may recommend replacement parts.

    4.5 Silicone, Gaskets and Seals

     i) Silicone, rubber gaskets and brush seals are excluded from coating unless explicitly stated. Painting onto these items can lead to cracking, sticking or premature failure and is not covered by our guarantees. Replacement of these items is an optional extra if requested before start.

    1. Appointments, Cancellations and Rescheduling

    5.1 Appointments

     i) Service dates and times will be arranged with the Client in advance. We strive to meet these dates but may reschedule due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, equipment failure or illness.

    5.2 Cancellation by Client

     i) If you cancel with less than 7 days notice, you agree to pay a cancellation fee of 20% of the total quoted price to cover our costs and administration.  We then issue a company credit note to the remaining value of the initial deposit.  The credit note can must be used within 24 months, after which it becomes void.

ii) All deposits are non refundable at the point of enquiring via any marketing channel or directly on our websites, regardless of the notice period.

    5.3 Rescheduling by Client

     i) Rescheduling does not carry a charge, provided you give at least 7 days notice.

ii) If we have already purchased paint or other materials specific to your job, a 12% deposit in addition to any existing deposit will be required at the time of rescheduling.

5.4 Cancellation or Rescheduling by Us

     i) We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if unforeseen events occur. If we cannot offer a suitable alternative date, we will refund any payment you have made other than the non refundable deposit. This refund is the maximum extent of our liability for such cancellation.

    1. Deposits and Payment Terms

    6.1 Deposit

     i) A non refundable deposit must be paid to secure your booking, regardless of promotional offers or discounts. The deposit amount will be clearly stated in your quotation or booking confirmation.

ii) Once paid, the deposit is strictly non refundable.

    6.2 Final Payment

     i) An invoice will be issued upon completion of the work. Full payment is required prior to our sprayers leaving your property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

ii) Deposits may be paid by credit or debit card. The final balance must be paid by bank transfer or cash only. Card is not accepted for the final balance unless agreed in writing before the start date.

    6.3 Late or Non Payment

     i) Failure to pay the balance when due may result in late fees and interest as permitted by law.

ii) We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any further work or warranties until payment is received in full.

    6.4 Quotations and Price Validity

        i) Written quotations are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue.

ii) Dates and prices are only secured once the deposit stated in your quotation is received; until then, availability and pricing may change.

iii) After the 14 day period, quotations may be revised or reissued.

iv) We reserve the right to agree specific terms for an individual deal; those terms will be agreed via call, WhatsApp, email, or by letter and will apply to that job.

    1. Completion, Inspection and Return Visits

    7.1 Same Day Inspection

     i) Once the work is completed, you must inspect all sprayed surfaces on the same day and notify us of any visible issues or defects immediately so we can address them on site where possible.

    7.2 Return Visits and Remedies

     i) If an issue is found to be our fault and you have notified us on the day of completion, we will correct it at no additional cost.

ii) We do not make unlimited return visits. If issues are reported after the day of completion or are unrelated to warranty conditions, a callout fee or additional charges may apply.

7.3 Cure Times and Early Use

     i) Fresh coatings are vulnerable while curing. Avoid opening, closing or sealing onto newly coated edges for 48 to 72 hours for two component systems and 7 days for waterborne systems.

ii) Do not carry out hard cleaning until 28 days have elapsed. Early operation or cleaning can mark edges or cause sticking and is not a workmanship defect.

7.4 Care and Maintenance, Condition of Guarantees

     i) For the first 7 days dust lightly with a soft cloth only.

ii) After 7 days clean with a mild pH neutral detergent and a soft cloth. Do not use solvents, bleach, cream cleaners, scourers or pressure washers.

iii) Avoid magnets, adhesives or tape on fresh coatings.

iv) For exterior items, wash down gently every 6 to 12 months to remove grime and salts.

     v) Failure to follow these instructions may void the guarantees.

    1. Liability and Damages

    8.1 Our Liability

     i) We take all reasonable care and will repair or rectify any direct damage caused by our negligence.

ii) We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages such as loss of profit, revenue or business.

8.2 Pre Existing Conditions and Third Party Damages

     i) We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre existing defects in your property or damage caused by third parties.

ii) Structural integrity issues, hidden faults or underlying material failures are outside the scope of our responsibility.

    8.3 Tape and Protective Materials

     i) We use low tack tapes and professional masking techniques. Some finishes, especially older or poorly bonded surfaces, may peel when tape is removed. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge this risk.

    1. Warranty and Guarantee

9.1 Manufacturer Paint Guarantee of 10 Years

     i) Where an approved coating system with a published manufacturer guarantee is used, the manufacturer’s guarantee applies to the coating film such as adhesion and colour stability within their stated tolerances and is subject to the manufacturer’s terms, correct maintenance, suitable substrate and exclusion of abnormal abuse, impact or chemical attack.

ii) Registration or evidence of purchase may be required by the manufacturer. We will assist with reasonable evidence and liaison.

9.2 Workmanship Warranty of 12 Months

     i) We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from completion. If a proven workmanship defect arises within this period, we will rectify the affected area at no charge. Our liability is limited to repair or re coating of the affected surface or surfaces.

    9.3 Exclusions

     i) Fair wear and tear, impact, abrasion, scratches or misuse.

ii) Movement, moisture ingress or failure of the substrate, including swollen MDF, rotten timber, failed laminates, failing silicone or gaskets.

iii) Heat or steam damage around hobs, kettles, ovens, dishwashers and sinks.

iv) Chemical attack from harsh cleaners, solvents, bleach, acetone, adhesives or tapes.

     v) Opening, closing or sealing onto fresh coatings during the cure times in section 7.3.

vi) Corrosion of metals or underlying powder coat.

vii) Colour perception differences due to lighting or comparing against printed or phone screens.

viii) Any item not included within the quoted scope.

    9.4 Claims Procedure

     i) All warranty claims must be submitted in writing with proof of purchase. We reserve the right to inspect the surfaces and determine whether the issue falls under the applicable guarantee or warranty.

ii) Where applicable, we will rectify the issue at no cost to you by repair or re coat. Cash refunds are not offered in lieu of remedial works.

    1. Data Protection and Privacy

    10.1 Compliance

     i) We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation.

    10.2 Use of Personal Information

     i) We will only use personal data for processing bookings, providing services and as described in our Privacy Policy.

ii) We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except when required by law.

    1. Severability

     i) If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

    1. Changes to Terms

     i) We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time.

ii) Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or upon written notification to you. Your continued use of our Services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
